The Orchestra Moment: What’s It Take? August 23, 2010 at 11:12 pm

Screen shot 2010 08 23 at 10.56.50 PM The Orchestra Moment: Whats It Take?I’m watching Collective Soul playing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. WOW.

Hits like GEL and SHINE are pretty stunning. The city of Atlanta is proud of their hometown boys. So what an amazing adventure to imagine. Getting big enough to play with the big band behind you. A frackin conductor!

We can dream, yes we can dream.

lespaul hendrix Les Paul RIP and Woodstock Revived

Jimi Hendrix

Les Paul

Woodstock

Violin

Give up?

Here’s the

punchline

Hendrix is famous for playing a Fender Stratocaster not a Les Paul.

Love’m both.

RIP Les Paul and RIP Jimi.

Buzzie Loves Juliana Hatfield (Video) August 4, 2009 at 8:45 am

The video looks kinda like something my son shot. See BUZZIE video below, but the ever hot Juliana Hatfield does justice to a great song from her latest album. “This Lonely Love” is one of a handful of standout tunes on her How to Walk Away disc. [Ah, now the video makes more sense, echoing the title of the cd rather than the song.] And does she look a lot like Kirsten Dunst or is it just me? She has a hell of a lot to say on her records, that’s for sure.

If you like that, there’s a blog where Juliana has posted about the music process and has given away more free downloadables.

Juliana Hatfield: By Fate, It’s Only Rock And Roll

And are a couple more videos:   Don’t Rush me from her previous disc and and older one form the Juliann Hatfield 3 For the Birds.

Enjoy.
